About The Artwork
Life in California inspired this piece. It starts out with 710 Ashbury, former home of the Grateful Dead.And next to it is the house Janis Joplin rented a room in. The next panel goes to the Hotel California and then moves to a Cannabis dispensary. The final panel is a surf shop. This is an ani-morphic 3D sculpture painted in reverse perspective. The Golden gate Bridge appears in the "background" (actually the foreground).
