Caretta Caretta Statue Sculpture

I was born in 1965. In our childhood we used to make simple T shape swords and wooden cars with bearing wheels ourselves. I don’t know if acting in theater, passion for photography or TV presenter for 25 years has any effect to the art of wood, but wood art has turned into a passion for me over time. I'm actually the son of a carpenter, but I've been trying to shape wood for the last 15 years. The tree diversity of the forests of the Black Sea region is my natural treasure. Aged and broken down tree roots and branches come to life again in my atelier. Most of the time, the form of wood directs the work. Revealing its texture, color and beauty is a pleasant and peaceful effort. It seems that I will continue to play with wood as long as the desire to produce is not exhausted.
