He received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. T Barny has carved 205 individual types of stone, personally sourced from 43 countries spanning all continents except Antarctica. Abstraction is his fascination and power tools are his forte. T Barny is known for his stone mobius "Celtic Knots" and curvilinear shapes, and also works in wood, bronze, steel, water, and ice.
