Climber Sculpture

Marin’s style includes dynamic figures and groupings that can be arranged and rearranged at will, like his fiberglass climbers. The artist’s theme of movement and dialogue can be seen in his figures, as they leap, jump, squat, stretch, spin, lunge out towards us. Through his techniques, Marin’s intention is to lure viewers to open dialogue for art. According to him, “captur[ing] the attention of other humans to stimulate a dialogue of love, admiration, knowledge and feelings for art” is most important. This is apparent in all of his work, as many people are intrigued and delighted by fiberglass army of climbers.
