About The Artwork
This sculpture is representative of my love for the found objects in the sea. Shells have always been a fascination with me. In constructing this shell, I actually roll the clay up and twist it as it is created in nature. The piece is juxtaposed so it balances on 2 points. Not unlike designing a chair or a great shoe, balance everything.
