This is the sterling silver limited edition of the little filigree 3d printed skull that became the #1 most funded Sculpture project in Kickstarter history & an icon of the 3D printed medium. The piece marks the 1st application of Joshua’s surrealist automatism technique to representational form. It gives a new identity to the shape & invites the viewer to discover the form through the gentle visual lead of the pattern. This has been an exploration in how 2D images & designs can change the interpretation of 3D form & geometry. Representing the passing of an era & the ever growing renewal over the ghost of the past. -Sterling Silver (92.5% pure) -Limited Editon of 15 (+1 artist proof) -Comes with collectors box, certificate of authenticity, & hand-singed card

Joshua Harker (b.1970) is an American artist considered a pioneer & visionary in 3D printed art & sculpture. His series of "unmakeable" technically complex tangles is credited as the first to break the design & manufacturing threshold of possiblity. His pursuit of a process to bring his works into the 3rd dimension culminated after nearly 20 years in a perfect storm of software development, materials engineering, & 3d printing technology advancements.
