DESPİNA Sculpture

Seray Vural is a multidisciplinary artist based in Istanbul, Turkey. She studied in the Ceramics Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, where she also completed her master’s degree. In addition, she pursued studies in the Traditional Turkish Arts Department, which further enriched her approach to materials, form, and cultural expression. Her artistic practice spans painting, mixed media, sculpture, and collage, often incorporating natural and sustainable materials such as paper, fabric, metal, and organic pigments. Inspired by nature, the sea, cultural memory, and everyday beauty, her works reflect harmony, elegance, and a deep emotional sensibility. She explores the relationship between memory, materiality, and the environment through texture, layering, and abstraction. Her artworks have been exhibited in solo and group shows in Istanbul, Bodrum, Venice, Oslo, and Toronto. Seray believes that art should offer beauty and serenity in today’s world, and she hopes her works bring a quiet sense of joy and reflection to the viewer.
