ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Pine wood sculpture inspired by human nature on a microscopic level! The work entitled “DNA” was conceived in opposition to “Creation of mankind” and it represents the microscopic world of human life from a scientific point of view. The play of shapes and voids, reminiscent of a DNA strand, create a compositional planimetric variety while the reddish patina highlights the carnal aspect of the human beings. The work, being of a smaller scale, is adequate in any kind of interior space, making for an excellent point of interest.
