Ocean-lives, especially coral reefs being my major source of inspiration, I often try to recreate the structures and patterns found in these natural elements. Dancing corals- A unique wall sculptural artwork, inspired by the repetitive and organic formations in the coral structures. Repurposed plastics has been individually hand-cut and stained to create the textural elements. This artwork with contrasting color palette would add a modern touch to any wall space. Project - 'For the planet' : Series of upcycled artworks created using the collected/found single use plastics with different textures. Its my way of contribution for a greener and better planet. So by collecting one of my original works from this series you are indirectly becoming part of this art journey for a cause. The artwork is assembled on a canvas of size 60X60 cm . The artwork will be signed on front and side and certificate of authenticity will be attached. NB: The reference photo in situ might not be in exact scale. It is just for a visual reference.

Swapna Namboodiri create assemblages, installations and sculptural artworks using mixed mediums including found objects and repurposed plastics. Her art practice is inextricably intertwined with sustainability. Nature being her favorite subject, she try to embrace the beauty of textures and patterns around her and create a visual treat in her works using reclaimed plastics. Her works often reflects the Japanese philosophy ‘Wabi-Sabi’- to embrace the beauty of imperfections. She embraces the imperfect organic shapes created by the hand-cut single-use plastics and highlights the textures in her artworks, making it a unique collectible piece of art!
