ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My son was hiking the woods in the Niagara region of Ontario in the spring of 2014, smelled something decomposing and went to investigate. He found a deer carcass, partially eaten. Returning to the area that fall, he found only a few remaining bones.Thinking "My Dad might like some of these", he collected two parts of a leg bone. Sure enough, I did like them and, during a months-long cleaning and whitening process I mulled over what to do with them. This, of course, is the result.
