ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Vertical cuts are made in a canvas in such a way that a square is created. Then the two top sides of the square are also cut. Now vertical canvas strips are created that are loose from the canvas at the top. This causes the strips to fall down due to gravity and the back of the canvas becomes visible. The original square takes two new shapes: an open hole and V shape with the color of the back. The work is signed on the back
