Dos puntas, is part of the series ‘Qué colour tienen que tener un cuerpo’ a set of small and medium sized table sculpture. This piece was hand modelled with terracotta clay and glazed with a glossy transparent glaze that instead of covering it, enhances the natural colour of the clay. Thus form and tone combine to leave definitions of this piece in abeyance. Its forms and tonalities, as in all my works, refer to the idea of a biological body that does not respond precisely to human canons but which is inscribed in a possibility of sensitive existence. What colour does a body have to have? It is a vindication of mixed forms and colours without fixed definitions. This sculpture for pedestal or table occupies a space of 39 x 7 x 11 cm. It has two kiln firings, one to solidify the form and the other to adhere the enamel.

In the relationship between the forms there is a narrative of proximity, of contact, of encounter, and it is probable that this narrative is not only composed of concepts but fundamentally of sensations. In Oscar Barbery's work, sculpture is the verb, it is the action and it is the subject, its formal constitution is the result of representations of the self-determined movement of matter: undefined bodies that attract, compose and project themselves. The relationship between them suggests a new nature or an amplified nature.
