From the look of the sculpture, a viewer may wonder “how did the artist initially develop the idea?” The process Artist Karl Geckler undertook to design “Double Discus” was actually very simple because of his love for geometry and background in architecture. This sculpture is an example of how Geckler uses geometrical ideas and turns them into a material reality. It is inspired by helixes and spirals and is a bronze casting with a natural bronze finely brushed, smooth, and multi directional finish! The solid black granite base 15" x 15" x 4" is included with purchase. Total height of the sculpture and base is 36"
