Eastern dream Sculpture

The face has closed eyes that represent inner peace and concentration. Pillow has the function of presenting the importance of it. Soul, like most valuable things, are presented on a pillow like a crown, jewels... The whiteness of the pillow is also important because it represents the purity and clarity of my relationship with surroundings. Pillow talk is a sculpture series based on the idea that all topics that we can imagine can be presented with one basic shape - in this case, a pillow. The basic theme is my life: spiritual, artistic, philosophical and physical. Trough various topics based on a pillow as a basic shape I speak about my life and reveal deep intimate biographical elements and stories from my emotional life. Almost every pillow in the cycle is sculpted in white marble. Traditional material and technique (carved and chiseled marble sculpture) become contemporary with symbols cast in bronze or other materials as long as​ the interventions on the very surface of the sculpture.
