Erosion III
Erosion III
Blown, colourless glass. Cut, polished, sand blasted, glued.
Erosion III is the third from a series of three objects which was inspired by the rapid thawing of earths' ice caps. Evidence of huge sections of the ice have been breaking away and many believe that global warming, caused by humans, is the main cause of this.
The sculpture represents a fractured section of ice on a still sea. The black irregular base reflecting the icebergs form.
