ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A tiny creature confidently seeks its path in the world, much like we all do sometimes. And as we change direction, we also change ourselves. This is the first artwork in a series of my furry works where I attempted to use artificial fur. One of the unique features of this work is that it allows for some interaction. Thanks to the fur, you can add a touch of your own creativity by changing the direction of the fibers with your hand or a comb, giving the work a different feel. Also, this artwork was published in the book of Arts to hearts project "100 emerging artworks of 2023" women's edition. This is an original piece, signed, with hanging wire on the backside to hang on the wall. Also has finished edges and doesn't require a frame. With an additional light source, this artwork will have the best appearance. The total size of the artwork is: 14.6 W x 14.6 H x 3.2 D in. The depth is measured to the highest point.

Kristi Zvir is a Ukrainian mixed media artist, based in Los Angeles. Her relief works are a fusion of geometric and abstract elements, filled with textures and vibrant colors. Using non-traditional materials to achieve volume she experiments with acrylic media, concrete, or even fake fur. In her work Kristi examines human conditions and identity through a prism of the life of nature.
