ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Fascinating….the buds on a twig waiting a whole winter long to blossom on the first agreable day in spring. The walnut tree in my garden was the inspiration for this sculpture. In a way the sulpture is an ode to Brancusi and Lipchitz, whom I both admire. This cast is the second of two, the first taken up in the collection of the Dutch government.
