Expressing myself. Few touches, many expressions. People are very complex systems and it's nice to be able to represent them in just a few taps. In these works I try, through the movement of the clay to give the form harmony and rhythm until I find the face, the person.

Alessandro Chiaramonti has never studied Fine Arts. He, the beauty of art, discovered it alone. He discovered it by looking around and being inspired by the context and people. Above all emotions. Sue, but also others. Having lived near Montelupo Fiorentino, then, we had the opportunity to get in touch with the working of clay, until art literally got out of hand or, better, from the hands. Increasingly intrigued and stimulated by this world, he decided to undertake a self-taught training course, learning from various local sculptors, until the moment he moved, - as an apprentice-friend - to the home of a well-known artist (whose name is promised not to mention). Once the art is acquired, it is carried out on its own, up to a lead in the heart of Chianti, where it currently lives. "Mud and Soul", is the name with which the artist not only collects the collection of his works, but also encompasses the essence of his art: starting from mud (clay) and shaping it up to transform it into eternal human feeling (l 'soul).
