About The Artwork

How would nature show to us if it did not exist? My artwork is a portrayal of humanity trying to imitate nature, with inorganic materials. Aluminium would imitate water, glass would imitate the ripples of a river. Can we connect with nature though the inorganic? My art invites people to do so, to transport themselves into the safe spaces of nature. There is much to say about using aluminium as a medium, as it's lightweight, clean, it reflects the colors in the environment. Glass, with its subtle inner tones can be mesmerizing. When we combine the wide range of textures and finishes we can portray the wide range of human emotion. That is what my art conveys.
