This framed circular ceramic is titled "Henko". This Japanese word translates as a transcendental change from which there is no return or return to the initial state, it relates to her life experience, this conversion being a transformation of her character and artistic attitude.

Eva Camino is a self-taught artist who combines ceramics and painting in her artworks. After twelve years in the advertising and digital marketing sector and after having achieved great success in the business world, she decided to leave it to start a new phase in the field of crafts as a ceramist. Although her long and solid career in the world of craftsmanship was a success, Eva decided to embark on a new path, this time in the art world with her new creations: framed ceramics and vases that combine knowledge and good treatment of the raw material, the artistic object's beauty, the polished final design, and painting. The journey to reach maturity has been forged by complex changes, twists, and turns, while at the same time it is proposed as a path of self-knowledge, personal exploration, and learning. After almost ten years of treating ceramics as a craft, such as tableware and other functional pieces, she abandons the characteristic of utility to focus on treating ceramics as an art piece and design. Her "Camino" is an allusion to her life journey, which she describes as long, but in which, after a spiritual experience of great relevance and transcendence for her at the beginning of the year 2024, she has found peace in her new creations that emanate harmony in the shapes, colors, and textures of nature, as well as consonance with the spirit of the Japanese concepts wabi-sabi and henko. Another distinctive feature of her creations is the light and the way it affects the different materials and finishes. The shine of the enamels, the luminosity of the clay, or the sparkles of the gold and silver applications that stand out when the light reaches the surface of the art pieces create an effect of light, shadow, sparkles, and shimmers that represent the idea of the search for light and calm, concepts that are very present in Eva's values. This proposal by Eva Camino is a step to consolidate her career in the world of art and design.
