my new line of sculptures- birds, stylized, more colorful. The Duchifat, (hoopoe in english) hood-hood in arabic, is the national bird of Israel, ( chosen by the people), very colorful and elegant bird, red, white and black, standing here on a base of falling leaves. An original bronze sculpture in edition of 9, signed.

Shaul Baz was born and grew up in kibutz mishmar-ha'emek in the jezreel valley in the northern part of Israel. Over the years,he studied various disciplines of art- in the years 1982-83 in 'Avni' art school, Tel-aviv, in the years 1988-90 with the artist Jan Rauchverger in his home and in the years 2000-02 with the artist Leonid Balaklav.. He lives with family in Jerusalem and works in a bronze foundry.
