Earth, water and fire are the simple and primordial elements from which my sculpture is born. The object I made belongs to a dreamlike bestiary or to a plant world reinvented by my imagination.

Born in 1972, in San Remo, Italy, Simone Cassini, experienced his art of cooking in the Michelin star restaurants in London, Paris, Cannes, Milan and Florence. Besides his creativity in the culinary field, he has been developping an interest in the art of ceramic, as a self-taught person, since he has settled in the Principality of Monaco, twenty years ago. His first works were a series/set of stylized and unusable teapots which will progressively transform into a new kind of sculptures. Today, Simone plays / juggles with geometrical forms and bright colors, as he does with ingredients when he cooks. His production, independant and insolite, is trending towards the creation of playful, unique and attractives pieces : bottles, containers or implements such as a mixer or a "Moka", the famous Italian coffee-maker, are diverted and recomposed with spontaneity and fantasy. His lights, more experimental subjects, built from modular assembling, call in mind natural elements linked to both terrestrial and marine worlds. Inexhaustible experimenter, Simone Cassini manage to produce pieces which combine roundness and rigor to achieve his construction and which harmony create/arouse/incite evasion.
