ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Handmade sculpture on Lecce stone, designed and created by the artist Andrea Serra. The sculpture "Incanto" tells a story of emotion, love and passion for the music. The processing of this work is entirely done by hand on this stone which is found only in very few areas of southern Italy, or in the lower Salento in the province of Lecce. This particular stone of marine origin, rich in vegetable and animal fossils dating back to around twenty million years ago (such as shells, marine plants and shark teeth), makes it suitable for working on details. The fossils present are visible on the surfaces of the work and make it even more unique and fascinating. The sculpture "Incanto" like every work by Andrea Serra, being sculpted by hand, is unique and signed in engraving by the artist.
