About The Artwork
The work was inspired by the infinity math sign, it was a one dimensional sign, I made it into a three dimensional figure. I want people to think about endlessness, something beyond themselves, beyond everything, hard to grasp. I chose stainless steel because it's rate of oxidation is slow.

I was born and raised in the panhandle of west Texas ( the Llano Estacado) where I now live. I started making welded metal sculpture after taking a welding course. Making sculpture was a hobby until I began to consign my work for sale in galleries in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I exhibit at SHIDONI Gallery outside Santa Fe, I have exhibited there for twenty years.
