Inspired by life drawing classes, this handcarved piece of Carrara marble, reveals a man deep in thought. The beautiful striation of the rock, invisible before the piece was carved, seems to leave a whiplash across the back of the individual. A metaphor of the scars left by our innermost thoughts?
