About The Artwork
The “Jeep Table” grew out of an admiration for the Jeep culture and it’s cult following, but more importantly the immense visual impact that the 7 slotted jeep front affords. It’s so universally recognizable and I am amazed at the emotion that a glimpse of one can do for the soul. I enjoy the design elements, curves, and lines of automobiles and most things mechanical and industrial. So combining the Jeep grille with black iron pipe, industrial casters, a wooden top, and remote controlled headlights was just a natural recipe for me. The vintage Jeep grille’s headlights and signal lights are wired up with low voltage LED lighting controlled with an on/off remote fob. Behind the 7 slotted grille is a faux radiator area to add some visual depth. The Jeep Grille is physically mounted to a 3/4" black iron pipe table frame.
