About The Artwork
"Jawbone," is a lower deer mandible covered in blue glass rhinestones and pinned into a shadow box with medium sized safety pins. I love Damien Hirst's stuff. Add into this love a day in which I was walking in the woods and found a deer skeleton. I brought this bone home, cleaned it and disinfected it, and spangled it with rhinestones. It catches the light and certainly anybody's attention. I think it would look good on the shelf in your study!
