This work is a collaboration between Sculptor C.A. Hartway and featured African Jewelry designer Danielle Nicole. This sculpture is a fusion of African and Japanese culture. It symbolizes the similarities of eccentricity and physical appearances found in both Asia and among certain African tribes. It is my expectation that viewers will see this work for its beauty and empowering stature, rather than as a racial construct. The marriage of two distinct ethnicities is a beckoning for harmony in the world. The calming fuchsia rich tones support peace and the higher vibration of life.
