About The Artwork

Lacerations - Height: 87 - Width: 56 - Depth: 3 Year, 2004 Transcriptions – Metamorphosis – Lacerations – Seams: are these the themes that have characterized your artistic search in chronological order, but above all are the passages that have crossed your skin and your soul, have given sense to your life.
They are strong jobs, hard at times anchored to African dimensions where the creeping animals change skin leaving on the arid ground that it remains of a body that runs away: the wrap, the print, the dress, the memory…
It is this the dominant theme of your to do; the everything lowered inside an undisputed will to read inside, to observe out, to analyze all the possibilities for a new writing, a sign that engraves that staples that testifies the passage from a state at to stay, from an impatience to the pure suffering till to emulate it and to make it lyric so that your cry rises high.
You speak of the pain and of the suffering as a gift and as it is necessary to divulge the quality inherent cathartic to come at a "benevolent" to take care of themselves for then, together with the time that flies and it is the measure of all the things to come to a positive reflection on the own inner life to give listening, voice, perfume and color at that more authentic that each of us has: own creativeness.

I was born in Recanati, Italy, where I currently live and work. ______________________________________ My artistic journey began with documenting photographic travels in disused urban areas. Places apparently abandoned, is creating a symbiosis between man and nature with evocative metamorphosis of color shapes. I face my research through paintings, sculptures and installations. I reproduce those chromatic and aesthetic feelings through pigments and rust, forcing aging processes. By means of simple recovery elements, such as nails and iron wire, I describe the imperfect condition of man and the states of malaise that lead to illness; to create escape routes with imaginary maps. I describe portions of space in which grotesque machines are enclosed that try to feed fossilized plants. Aliment with the sun artificial plants and create shadows of memories projected on glass showcase as a reminder of something that has been lost. I try to make the tone of the messages strong, in a harmonious and pleasant way. The intent is to capture the attention for a moment of reflection between so much noise and indifference.
