Mixed media unique sculpture from the ethnic serie.
The inspiration for this sculpture was my favorite book of my childhood Cooper's "The Last of the Mohicans" is set in 1757, during the French and Indian War .It has influenced popular opinion about American Indians and the frontier period of eastern American history. The romanticized images of the strong, fearless, and ever-resourceful frontiersman , as well as the stoic, wise, and noble "red man" Chingachgook, were notions derived from Cooper's characterizations more than from anywhere else. The phrase, "the last of the Mohicans", has come to represent the sole survivor of a noble race or type.

Hi my name is Elena , i am an artist and choreographer living in Kiel . I masterfully combine figurative , floral ,portret and animals painting. In Kiel I am the owner of two dance schools and my artwork is inspired by my passion for dancing, merging the charm and grace of a dancer, thus giving the paintings a very special, very sensual touch. In addition, through years of experience with body control as well as an expert´s view for body language, both which I acquired in the long years as a trainer, choreographer and dancer myself, I breathe life into my paintings in a highly artistic way. When I finish a painting, I am ready for it to find its new home. I have had my time in creation and development, and when it’s finished, my time with it is over, and I know it was created for someone else’s enjoyment. I love what I do. I love creating artwork, and I’m proud of the images I create. Beautiful, meaningful images that speak to individuals as much as they spoke to me.
