"Lines & Rhythm"
Exlusive artwork. Only one copy exist in the world.

This work is part of my experiment with shapes and rhythm in space. I try to learn how can I organize space using primitive shapes and rhythms.
I take a lot of inspiration from artists such as Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. This work is my reflection and attempt to transmit their ideas into three-dimentional space.
I've spent a lot of time making sketches and prototypes to combine a lot of separated shapes into harmonic three-dimentional composition. It feels like I found language of shapes.
This work is great for people who appreciate design and have a good taste.
Oak wood has rich texture and you could be shure that only one original copy exist in the world.

Dmytro Shavala is a Ukrainian artist who works with wooden sculptures. He was born in 1994 in Shklo town. Currently, he is living and working in Lviv. He mastered the work with wood at Joseph Stanko art school and at Lviv National Academy of Arts. He also participated in the workshop «Fonderia Versiliese» in Italy. During his studies he took to abstract sculpture. He started working intellectually on the shape and learned to feel and understand it. He researched Ukrainian wooden sculpture in an effort to reveal its aesthetic value and identity. In his own works, Dmytro combines wood textures and tones, as well as glossy bright expressive colors, which emphasize clear geometric shapes, bringing his works closer to op-art. His sculptures are characterized by the use of iterative elements centered around the visual centers. The works balance between painting and sculpture. Through such dynamic compositions, Dmytro reflects on the concepts of development and transformation, the sources of which are internal personal processes. He experiments with materials and casts work in bronze. Dmytro is inspired by environment, geometry and color. He participated in many exhibitions, including Artrooms 2019, London, Workshop «Fonderia Versiliese» Pietrasanta, Italy 2019, «The wood» 2016, Lviv. He is the winner of Fonderia Artistica Versiliese 2019. Dmytro’s works are stored in private collections in the United States, China, Great Britain, Italy, Australia, Germany, France, Saudi Arabia, Poland and Spain. If you have any questions, ask them! Dmytro can create works of any size.
