ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Pierced Parts Series: One in a series of sculpture exploring the darker sophistication of body piercing. Jewelry included is replaceable but I cannot guarantee the fit of other jewelry. The sculpture is set on a stainless steel rod into a Japanese ink-stone base. Ink stone is a type of slate traditionally used for inkwells in calligraphy. Each item is one of a kind. The mold is destroyed during the process and only a single cast is made. *Shipping from Japan (tracked airmail) is included in the price. *Various male / female available.
