Michael Sean Stolworthy is an American designer based in Las Vegas whose idiosyncratic work is sought by discerning collectors and exclusive clients internationally. Intersecting the boundaries of art & design, his functional art pieces translate the sinuous language of nature into curvaceous fluid forms infused with a subtle balance of modern and contemporary. Technology driven with an intrinsic passion for creating extraordinary things, he explores form through animation and computational design software, using it as a tool for creative freedom & artistic expression. Michael fuses computer aided design and age old fabrication methods to materialize his work in bronze, steel, exotic stone, glass, wood and resin. Michael began his studies in Ornamental Horticulture and Botany, later going on to study traditional arts & digital design earning a degree in Media Arts & 3-D Animation. His career has been cultivated through creative roles designing and creating visual effects, stage events, exhibit designs, and furniture & objects. Over the years, he's designed for clients such as Marvel Studios, Ferrari, LVMH Moët Hennessy, Microsoft, Samsung, Kodak, Royal Caribbean, Las Vegas resorts, and many others. His studio was born out of a long stemming desire to branch away from the corporate design world to do something niche and peculiar.
