Sculpture: Ceramic on Ceramic, Wood.

Nature and the properties / potential that clay has to express itself are my main inspiration for making these pieces. My hope is that viewers / purchasers will appreciate the relationship between form and surface in each piece and the natural world that shares those properties. I was drawn to clay over 45 years ago. There is something therapeutic about working with it that is felt by most ceramic artists. The vessel form and clay have a relationship that goes back to the dawn of civilization, I try to relate to and honor that tradition in my work.
