Born in Italy and currently residing in the South of France, Mimi Eres is a 50 year old self-taught artist, mixed media painter and sculptor, who also works as an interior designer. With skills and techniques honed over the years, her art aims to achieve sensations and feelings that arise from the essence of colors and the strength of their composition, intuitive or sometimes structured, and not to intellectual understanding through schemes and mental forms. Her realistic subjects are reduced (abstracted) to their basics of structure, through the arrangement of shapes, colors and lines. Her works focus primarily on 3 themes: Abstractionism, Suprematism, and Constructivism.
