About The Artwork

This white blue porcelain vase was created by Tamir in 2018 in the city famous for its porcelain tradition - Jingdezhen in China. Precious kaolin vase is decorated with the most valued cobalt blue pigment. This is the first porcelain in the world representing contemporary Mongolian calligraphy. It includes inscriptions in three different scripts: Soyombo script at the top, Mongolian traditional Uyghuric script in the middle, and Orkhon Turkic rune script at the bottom.
