ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Three-dimensional sculpture, of patinated and polished bronze on wooden support placed on marble base, representing the image of Moses. Being a Jew, he was carefully put in a basket and left on the water of the Nile, to his fate. He was found and adopted by the eldest Pharaoh's daughters. After years, Moses should have become the pharaoh of Egypt, being the greatest grandson of Pharaoh at that time. However, finding out that he was of another blood, Pharaoh asked to be punished, but Moses managed to escape and save himself.
