Made on brass sheet, protected with varnish I am delighted with fractal patterns in nature – tree branches, spirals of shells or ferns, schools of fish or flocks of birds. Apparently, these patterns naturally calm us down and we feel pleasure from looking at them. This time I created a huge group of...

I create wallart, sculptures and decorations made of metal. I work mainly with brass, copper, steel and corten. I am fascinated by metal and I am exploring its secrets and taming it. I try to extract from it features that are not obvious for metal - delicacy, subtlety, lightness, ephemerality, emotion and delight, warmth and tenderness. This is how I feel about nature and I want to reflect this in my works. My main inspiration is nature - diverse, available always and to everyone, beautiful, subtle, changeable, imperfect. I create out of a pure need to share beauty. I surround myself with natural, noble materials, I don't like it when something pretends to be something it is not. That's why I chose to work with metal, and all the colors that I manage to give to my works are the natural colors that we can obtain thanks to oxidation, patination and grinding. Nature, durability, minimalism and uniqueness - these are the values I follow every day and I included them in my paintings and objects.
