About The Artwork
This Nail Bonsai Sculpture has been hand crafted from salvaged materials gathered around the Pacific Northwest region. Its rock base is welded using various sheet metal scraps ground and sanded into a stone shape. The trunk was formed from rusty nails bent to spiral around each-other. Its leaves are fashioned from bicycle spoke ends. Everything was lightly cleaned with a clear coat applied to eliminate further rusting.
