Nautilus string art Sculpture

This string art piece is inspired by the Fibonacci spiral. It depicts the symmetries and balance in nature, through the shape of a nautilus. It is made of over 1,000 steel nails and about a mile of silk and cotton strings, on an MDF canvas, which is a natural wood product. All materials used are eco-friendly, while I never use spray paints or other toxic materials. All of my pieces are painted at all sides by hand, using top quality acrylic colors and brushes. For my creations I use galvanized steel nails (which means that they are protected from humidity and rust), and silk & cotton strings (70% silk - 30% cotton, which makes them rather unbreakable). All of my pieces are signed and dated at their backside, while they will reach you ready to hang, with all hanging hardware included. Thank you for your interest!
