"Night Peonies". The night hides objects, they become indistinct in the dark. The bends of the leaves are reminiscent of fabulous creatures. Bright red flowers flicker in the dark, change color, and attract our eyes. This picture is full of mysteries. The contrast between bright and dark colors enha...

I'm the artist Tony Maria Konik. Tony is my artistic nickname. My desire is to share my joy wiht my viewers. We can spend our whole life looking for a sense of joy without ever feeling it. And we can stop and look around us and understend that joy is next to us, we just need to learn to notice it and fully enjoy it. Each object, in addition to its direct physical purpose, has a psychological meaning- these are the feelings that it evokes in us , associations, memories. With my works, I want to show the viewers that in the elements of nature that surround us: flowers, leaves, fruits, plants, a psychological meaning is hidden which brings us joy. The modern pace of life, urbanization, professional employment do not leave us time for communication with nature and knowledge of ourselves. My works will help you create your own island in the stormy ocean of life, where you can rest your soul. From an early age, I felt an urgent need to express myself through lines and clor spots. But life turned out so that I had to interrupt art training and work as an engineer of production. But remaining an artist in my soul, I continued to draw in my mind and only in fits embodied my ideas in physical form. In 2009 , thanks to my second daughter, I realized that creativity is my vocation. My paintings are signed with her name Tony , and she lives on in them. I studied different painting techniques in search of an opportunity to express my feelings that evokes from bending of leaves, the movement of flowers shapes, the unevenness of stones...( they just spoke in me and could not find words). So I came up with a technique that combines a bas-relief, pasty and acrylic paintting. You need to touch my paintings, stroke all the curves and roundness of the objects depicted on them, to fully experience all the sensations that they cause. Enjoy as you create your own personal world with them.
