ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Nightly Characters. Sculpture made of two very different stones, black granite and white marble. In other words these two stones are kind of extremes to each other, such as light and darkness. I got inspired by the material itself and I wished to express the dramatic contrast in meeting of these two stones. I like to leave natural surfaces visible on my sculptures so even this time you can see beautiful cristaline structure of each of these two different minerals. Sculpture Nightly Characters is composed of two free standing parts. The black characters are placed near to the white shape.
