As an artist, I was deeply moved by the beauty and strength of Islamic calligraphy and wanted to create a piece that embodied the spirit of unity and divine connection found in the core belief of monotheism. My intention with this artwork is to evoke a sense of serenity, contemplation, and inspiration in its viewers, as they are reminded of the power of faith and devotion that transcends cultural and religious boundaries. I chose the medium of solid oak for its natural warmth, durability, and timelessness, reflecting the enduring nature of the message it conveys. The minimalist style, with its clean lines and contrasting colors, serves to emphasize the profound simplicity of the declaration, while allowing the piece to seamlessly integrate into various interior design styles. The physical texture of the oak adds a tactile dimension to the artwork, inviting the viewer to connect with the piece on a deeper level.
