ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by natural forms, especially the human figure, each of these pieces is a unique design. They are built by hand from stoneware clay, using the simplest tools. Fired to a temperature in excess of 2000 degrees f., this piece is finished with a red multiple-coat stain in a wax medium. Each piece is signed and dated in the clay. I love clay because it is an extension of my body and my thoughts. I'm greatly influenced by the works of Henry Moore and Frank Gehry.
