Art Description

Sculpture: Resin, copper, mixed media on Other.

This piece is an experimentation with space-time. The resin, clear and invisible-like, holds the space of a cube. It creates boundaries and freezes what is inside creating a moment. Though, when the cube is turned the moment changes as reflections of the objects inside and the surrounding objects refract and split into different spaces of the same moment. For example, at one angle you may see one red object, but at another angle there may be 5 red objects. From different perspectives a space can be perceived in various ways. Memory changes as the future develops. Someone can be assumed as something depending on where you stand to observe them.
