I have no idea what inspired this work. I had an elongated block of plaster and started to saw and cut in it and suddenly the in-and-out rings began to occur and ended with a more square like part. Next the smoothing of the two top parts and the small marks on the three next parts came by itself.

Between childhood and my children's childhood I nearly never was creative in this way. But then, when my children began to play with clay and plaster, I returned to the creative arts. First, I worked with and attended classes in clay figure modelling. Then I also worked with more or less abstract sculpture making in paper clay, wood, plaster, resins - and got occupied with mould making in silicones and castings in plaster and resins. Also, a few works of paintings. Born 1951. Living in central Copenhagen, Denmark.
