ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Unique surreal sculpture of tortoise made in clay and coloured using iron oxides and glazes. This design inspiration came from experience living in a house of multiple occupation. The final explosion of ''muddy colour yellow'' - reflection on a day when all occupants lost access to garden and living room as it was transformed into one more money making space for new occupant. Rising cash flow forecast: high flood of people risk - they all pour out as yellow... Ceramic kiln fired tortoise part of my Grand Design Collection.
