ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Prismatic Polygon" series are low-relief laser-cut sculptures, constructed from layers of laser-cut, patterned sheets of cast acrylic in many different colors. This series utilizes patterns, lines, color, and geometry references the aesthetic tradition of Sol Lewitt, applied to the contemporary experience. In Walker's newest series, his prismatic polygons appear to shift colors depending on the viewing perspective.
