As part of his work he has explored design, goldsmithing, jewelry and ceramics. In a more recent period he transformed the traditional goldsmithing technique into contemporary works of art. Currently, Marcelo Toledo is producing works applying indigenous textile techniques and using metal as a guiding thread to connect the past with the present in large format pieces and installations in public spaces.
