ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I wanted here to represent a more realistic version of the great pieta. That's to say that I wanted to show the difficulty of holding the body of the dead Christ, show the emaciated flesh following a crucifixion and anguish on Marys face at the loss she had. This is a wax Marquette, the final sculpture will be in bronze and mounted on marble. It will be a limited edition of just 6
